As you prepare your center for parent invoicing through LineLeader you will work with the LineLeader team to configure how you would like to structure the convenience fees that are tied to payment processing.
Standard Convenience Fees:
For credit card transactions, a convenience fee of 2.95% will be charged.
For ACH transactions, a convenience fee of $0.50 will be charged.
These convenience fees will be automatically applied to payment amounts.
Centers may chose if they wish to absorb the fee or pass the fee to payers. Centers have the flexibility to chose to absorb one type of fee and pass the other along, as desired. The default configuration is that all fees will be passed to payers.
Note: Colorado schools cannot pass credit card fees along to parents due to CO regulations.
When parents/payers activate their accounts and sign-up for payments through LineLeader they will be met with a statement regarding convenience fees.
