To make sure our customers are complying with updated FCC regulations for business-to-consumer texting, the landing pages we provide our customers have been updated with a checkbox that parents will be able to check if they want to text with their prospective childcare provider. The landing pages have also been updated to include a link to standard texting Terms and Conditions and a standard Privacy Policy. None of this verbiage is editable, as several elements are required by FCC regulations.

In addition, the FCC now requires new Enroll customers to submit additional information when obtaining ten-digit phone numbers for texting and recording. New fields have been added to the organization’s “Account Information” section. The updated requirements for obtaining a ten-digit phone number are NOT retroactive, so customers who already have telephony enabled do not need to do anything to continue using this feature. New customers will need to fill out all the fields in Settings > Organization Info > Edit (in the top right corner) > Account Information to enable telephony.

Over time, Enroll will be sunsetting five-digit texting. Customers who wish to continue using Enroll’s popular texting (and/or voice recording) features (i.e. “telephony”) will need to fill out the Account Information fields and then click the “Get a CRM System Phone Number” button for each location on the Location Information table.

Note that the initial processing of your account information to enable these features can take several weeks. This is done by a third party—LineLeader has no control over this process.
