Improved Experience When Removing Autopay Payment Methods

We've made enhancements to give both admins and families better clarity around autopay status when linked payment methods are removed.

When a family removes the payment method used for autopay enrollment, a pop-up will now confirm they are unenrolling from autopay when they remove that payment method. This avoids confusion if they want to remain enrolled.

If they continue, autopay will be disabled for the family:

  • The "Disable Autopay" button will switch to "Setup Autopay"

  • The family will no longer appear as enrolled in autopay reporting

For admins, this clearly shows in the system when a family is no longer autopay-enabled.

And for parents, it ensures an intentional choice to unenroll from autopay, rather than doing so accidentally.

The improvements deliver clarity for both parties when altering autopay payment methods. Let us know if you have any other questions!
