What are payroll deductions?
Payroll deduction allows your employees to automatically pay for childcare right from their paycheck.
How it works
As the center admin, you can enable Payroll Deductions by:
Clicking Billing β Configuration β Settings β Options.
Click "Edit"
For Manual Payment Type, select "Payroll Deduction".
Click "Save".
Once enabled:
Payroll Deduction will appear as an option when crediting an invoice.
Payroll Deduction will appear as a credit memo type to log credits ahead of invoice generation.
Note: An Admin will need to log these credits once Payroll Deduction has been completed via your payroll process.
Behind the scenes, we handle the accounting correctly, mapping payroll deductions to their own GL code.
On aging reports, payroll deductions show under the family's balance, reducing the amount owed.
