This article will give more information about the statuses you will see throughout the CRM system.

Active Leads are the opportunities that you are actively pursuing for enrollment. These opportunities will eventually result in either Enrollments or Lost Opportunities.A Lead can be the opportunity if no child is added to the record.Once a child is added to the lead, the child becomes the opportunity.Multiple children can be added to a record, and each child represents a separate opportunity. It is possible for one Child to end up as Enrolled, and another child as a Lost Opportunity for various reasons. Thus, Opportunities can have different results.Active Leads/Children can have one of the following active statuses:

1. New Lead: The New Lead status is defined as a new inquiry that has not been contacted, spoken to on the phone with or toured. Typically, New Leads will come in over the web, via email, by kiosk (for walk-in leads), or a transfer or referral from other locations.

2. Contacted: The Contacted status is defined as a lead who you have spoken on the phone with, in person, or with whom you have had a two-way email/text conversations.

3. Tour/Visit Scheduled: The Tour/Visit Scheduled status is defined as a lead/child that has scheduled a tour or visit at your facility that has not yet happened.

4. Tour/Visit Completed: The Tour/Visit Completed status is defined as a lead that has completed a tour/visit at your facility that was scheduled, or that was a walk in.

5. Wait List: The Wait List status is defined as a child that is on the waiting list at your facility.A lead cannot have a Wait List status.Only a child that is associated with that lead can have a Wait List status.

6. Registered: The Registered status is defined as a child whose parent is in the process of registering with all the appropriate paperwork, deposits, etc.A Registered child is one that has not started yet, but is committed to start in the future.

Archive Leads are opportunities that you are no longer pursuing for enrollment. With the exception of Lost Opportunity, all of the Archive statuses are child statuses.Archive Leads/Children can have one of the following Archive statuses:

1. Enrolled (Started): On the day the child starts attending your facility, the status is updated from Registered to Enrolled (Started).

2. Temporary Leave: This status is used after a child has been Enrolled but temporarily leaves for whatever reason (i. e. summer break, military deployment, etc.) but plans on returning in the future.

3. Withdrawn: This status is used after a child has been enrolled but becomes permanently dis-enrolled for whatever reason.

4. Lost Opportunity: This status is used for any lead/child that previously had expressed interest in enrolling at your facility but is no longer interested. Whether the reason is you are unable to contact them, if they tell you they are no longer interested or have enrolled elsewhere, this status allows you to Archive your records and move them out of your pipeline.

5. Rejected: This status is only used for records that need to be deleted from the system, including duplicates, test leads, spam, or invalid records that aren’t usable.
