Marking a Child Absent - For Admin

If a child is not marked absent through informed arrival, here is how administrators can go in and mark the child absent.

Admin can mark a child absent by going to the child’s profile and navigating to the “Scheduling” tab. From there, find the schedule that needs to be cancelled, click on the three dots on the right hand side, and select “Cancel”.

Once you have selected “Cancel” on the schedule you will choose the reason for cancelation from the drop down menu and click “Cancel Reservation”.

Teachers and Admin using the web version of MomentPath can go to the left-hand menu click “Manage” then click “Groups” in the drop down menu to see how many are checked in, how many are absent, and the max capacity of that room. This feature helps staff understand how many children are still expected to arrive in a day.

Administrators will also see a tally of absent children on their ratios graph on their dashboard. If you visit your dashboard and click the “My Site” tab on the top left of the screen, you will see the box labeled “Check-In Ratios”. This box will show you the number of children and staff present or absent. If the ratio box is red, this means the class is not in the standard ratio.
