How to refund a Credit Memo

This article focus on how to refund a credit memo so it is no longer showing a balance without voiding it in LineLeader.

Credits are held on the parent's page under the billing tab. Start by going to their page and click billing (Purple Rectangle)

Scroll down to the Customer Credits and Deposits and click Actions (Red Rectangle)

Then click Manual Refund (blue rectangle)

Then a screen will pop up asking you to confirm that you have refunded the credit memo and that you may add notes. It is a best practice to include some notes about why you are doing this so that a paper trail can be found later if need be.

Click Yes, mark as refunded to finalize that you wrote that parent a check or otherwise to give them the balance of that credit memo.
