Please note that the following process is for leads with child records.  If your lead has no child record, follow the steps in Reactivating a Lost Opportunity Lead Without Children.

Please also note that there are two ways to reactivate child records, each with benefits and drawbacks, as discussed in Intro: Making Lost Opportunity and Withdrawn Children Active Again.

Step 1: Find the lead/child. You have two options:

Option A:

  1. Start typing the child’s name or lead’s name, email or phone number in the search bar in the upper right.

  2. Click the child’s or lead’s info when it appears.

Option B: If you are already logged into a particular location....

  1. Click the “Archive” tab.

  2. Click "Withdrawn" or “LostOpp”.

  3. Click on the row containing the lead you want.

Step 2: On the “Manage Lead” screen, under Children, click the name of the child whose status needs to be changed.

Step 3: On the “View Child” screen, click “Additional Opportunity” in the upper right toolbar.

This creates the new record, a copy of the old record but with a start date of today and a status of "New Lead", which you will see on the Manage Lead screen under "Children".  You will also see a red + next to the child’s name.

If you ever need the old child record, which is still in "Withdrawn" or "Lost Opportunity" status, you can get to it by clicking the red + icon.
