Please note that the following process is for leads with child records.  If your lead has no child record, follow the steps in Reactivating a Lost Opportunity Lead Without Children.

Please also note that there are two ways to reactivate child records, each with benefits and drawbacks, as discussed in Intro: Making Lost Opportunities and Withdrawn Child Records Active Again.

Step 1: Find the lead/child. You have two options:

Option A:

  1. Start typing the child’s name or lead’s name, email or phone number in the search bar in the upper right.

  2. Click the child’s or lead’s info when it appears.

Option B: If you are already logged into a particular location....

  1. Click the “Archive” tab.

  2. Click "Withdrawn" or “LostOpp”.

  3. Click on the row containing the lead you want.

Step 2: On the “Manage Lead” screen, under Children, click the name of the child whose status needs to be changed.

Step 3: On the “View Child” screen, click the “EDIT” button at the bottom or click “Edit” in the upper right toolbar.

Step 4: On the “Modify Child” screen, change the “Child Status” to whichever of the available statuses is most accurate.

ChildCareCRM will only let you change the status back to a status the child previously had.  If you need a different status, pick one of the available statuses, finish the process below, then go back in and edit the child, changing the status as needed.  (If you change the status to "Tour Scheduled", be sure there is a tour task assigned to the lead.)

Step 5: If a warning window pops up, click the “YES” button.

Step 6: On the “Modify Child” screen, click the “SAVE” button at the bottom of the screen or click “Save” in the upper right toolbar.
