LineLeader Release Notes — August 2026

This month’s updates make AI messaging self-serve, bring all setup importers together, add clearer child enrollment statuses, strengthen receipts and refund safeguards, and give Enroll users new tour tools and better notes.

LineLeader Manage Updates

AI Message Composer V2 (MaverickAI Tone Setter):

The AI Message Composer rewrites a Message Center draft in the tone you choose. You can preview the result, regenerate it, and then use or discard it before sending. This release makes the tool self-serve and expands where you can use it.

  • Turn it on yourself: A new MaverickAI section in Admin Site Settings lets org admins turn MaverickAI on or off and choose which roles can use it. Previously, only LineLeader Support could enable it.

  • Control who manages the setting: A new Roles & Permissions context controls which admins can change the AI setting. It can be set to Write, Read, or Deny for each role. For now it covers only the Tone Setter, and it will expand to future AI tools.

  • Use it in replies: The composer now works when replying in an existing thread, not just when starting a new message. It offers the same tones, preview, and regenerate options.

The AI Message Composer is also available on the mobile app.

Self-Serve Data Imports:

Org admins can now run setup imports themselves from Admin > Org Info > Import Data. This includes Billing Plans, Items, Schedule Types, and Programs. Before, admins could only see the District Funded family importer and had to ask a superuser for anything else.

This speeds up onboarding and lets enterprise customers re-import each school year, summer, or break session on their own.

The Child/Family importer has also moved from its separate superadmin page into the same Import Data modal, so every importer is now in one place.

Child Enrollment Status:

Child profiles now show one of five system-set enrollment statuses: Pre-Registered, Pre-Enrollment, Enrolled, Withdrawn, or Inactive. The status is based on the child’s schedule, giving your site one source of truth for where each child stands.

Deactivating a child now sets the Inactive status and records the change in the audit log. Statuses can’t be set by hand in this version.

This feature is turned on per site with the Enrollment Status customization. For unified Manage + Enroll customers, the child profile will show the new Manage status in place of the Enroll status.

Redesigned Payment Receipt:

The receipt under Parent profile > Transactions > Actions > View Receipt is now a branded proof-of-payment document. It includes:

  • The provider’s legal name, address, and Tax ID (EIN)

  • The child’s name and date of birth

  • The service period

  • The amount paid

This covers what parents typically need for dependent care FSA claims, employer childcare benefits, and taxes. The same receipt can also be opened from Billing > Reports > Invoice Detail.

New Warning for Recent ACH Refunds:

If an admin starts a refund on an ACH payment made in the last 72 hours, Manage now flags the Refund action, shows helper text, and asks the admin to confirm.

Refunding before a payment settles is risky: if the original payment is later returned, the refund still goes out. This warning applies only to Adyen ACH payments on family invoices. Refunds outside the 72-hour window work the same as before.

Group Billing No Longer Auto-Enrolls Children:

Changing the “Plan to use in forecasting reports for ideal revenue” field in Manage > Groups > Billing Plans no longer shows the “Replace Existing Plans?” prompt or enrolls every child in the group in that plan. The field now only affects forecasting, which helps prevent accidental mass billing changes.

Deleting a Contact in Manage Now Removes It from Enroll:

When an Additional Contact is deleted in Manage, the linked contact in Enroll is now removed too. Before, the contact stayed in Enroll, and clicking it opened an error page in Manage. Deleting a contact in Enroll already worked the other way.

LineLeader Enroll Updates

Tour Intelligence:

Tours are a core part of Enroll, and now you get additional support before, during, and after each one. Center Directors get:

  • A Tours tab on the Action Dashboard: It shows Today’s Tours, Pending Outcome, and Upcoming, and is built for use on a tablet.

  • A Start Tour flow: It checks the family’s info and then opens the Tour Guide, a full-page view used during the tour. The Tour Guide shows the Family Overview, Family Priorities, AI Tour Insights, Suggested Talking Points, Quick Actions, and a tour progress tracker.

  • Outcome capture after the tour: Completing a tour saves the outcome and opens a Tour Debrief. Staff can close the debrief and come back to it later.

  • Admin configuration: Admins can set up Family Priorities questions, Tour Debrief fields, and Tour Talking Points. Corporate admins set the talking point areas, and each center writes its own content.

  • Tour Insights analytics across the hierarchy: See peak booking day and time, best day and time to tour, and bookings by day of week and time of day.

  • A Tour Insight tab on the Family Hub: It keeps a family’s tour history available even after the task is gone from the dashboard.

Tour Intelligence is controlled by feature flags that LineLeader turns on for your organization. AI Tour Insights has its own separate flag.

Action Dashboard Tune-Up:

These updates make pending leads and to-dos quicker to work through. They are controlled by the Action Dashboard tune-up flag.

  • Cleaner View Family modal: The modal now has four sections: Guardian, Child, Attribution, and Comments. The separate Inquiry Details section and the Current/Modern view toggle are gone, and Marketing Campaign is now a field in Attribution.

  • Blank attribution fields are hidden: Attribution shows only the fields that have a value. If every field is blank, it shows “No attribution data.”

Better Enroll Notes:

Family Notes and the Notes field in the Edit Child modal now support rich text formatting, so longer notes are easier to read and organize. Formatted notes save and load reliably and won’t break reports.

Calendar Time Zone:

The Enroll calendar now always shows times in the location’s time zone, no matter what time zone the user is in. This prevents scheduling mix-ups for teams that work across regions.
