LineLeader Manage Updates

Catch Invalid Invoice Dates Before They're Saved:

To help prevent simple data entry mistakes, LineLeader will now warn you if you enter an invoice date that looks incorrect when creating a Manual Plan Invoice.

For example, if you accidentally enter the year as 0202 instead of 2025, you'll receive a warning before the invoice is created.

Dates more than one year in the past or future will trigger a warning but can still be used if needed. Dates before January 1, 2015 are no longer supported.

This helps catch obvious mistakes before they impact billing or reporting.

Lock Schedules After They've Been Billed:

For Parent Led Registration (PLR) customers, you can now prevent schedule changes after a billing period has already been invoiced.

Once a billing period is locked, parents won't be able to make schedule changes that would affect an already-generated invoice. This helps ensure the care you bill matches the schedule that was approved.

Organizations can configure when schedules lock based on their billing cycle. This feature is available with this customization enabled: scheduleLock/enabled.

KinderConnect Reconciliation Report Improvement:

The KinderConnect Reconciliation Report now reflects exactly what was sent to KinderConnect.

Instead of recreating submission data later, LineLeader now stores each submission and the report displays that saved record. This makes it much easier to verify submissions and troubleshoot any issues.

Check-In and Check-Out Edits Now Sync to KinderSystems:

If attendance records are updated after a child has been checked in or out, those changes will now be sent to KinderSystems during the nightly sync.

The updated submission includes the corrected attendance times, the appropriate attendance date, and the user who made the change, helping keep subsidy reimbursement and the Reconciliation Report accurate.

Archive Schedule Types:

You can now archive schedule types you no longer use, while preserving them for historical records and reporting.

Archived schedule types:

  • No longer appear in selection lists

  • Can't be assigned to new schedules

  • Continue to appear on existing historical records

If a child is currently enrolled in an archived schedule type, their schedule will clearly indicate that the schedule type has been archived.

This makes it easier to keep your schedule list organized without losing important historical information.

View Communication Types in the Templates Table:

For organizations with Communication Types enabled, the Templates table now includes a 'Communication Type' column, so you can quickly see what category each template is marked as without having to open it.

This makes reviewing and organizing your templates much faster while helping support compliance.
