LineLeader Manage Updates

More Flexibility for Time Periods and Registration Fees:

If you offer seasonal programs, school-year programs, camps, or holiday breaks, managing registration fees just got a lot easier.

You can now create overlapping time periods, which means special programs like Summer Camp or Spring Break can exist alongside your regular school-year setup without requiring workarounds.

You also have more control over registration fees:

  • Choose whether a registration fee applies to a specific time period

  • Set up automatic fee waivers between related time periods

  • Clearly see fee settings from the Time Periods page

For example, if a family already paid a registration fee for the school year, you can automatically waive the fee for a related summer or break program.

Families will also see these waivers during registration, along with an explanation of why the fee was waived.

Available with the allowOverlappingTimePeriods/enabled customization.

Prevent Duplicate Schedule Coverage:

To help avoid billing mistakes, children can no longer be enrolled in overlapping schedules of the same type.

If a parent or administrator attempts to create or edit a schedule that overlaps with an existing schedule of the same type, the system will stop the change before it can be saved.

This helps keep schedules accurate and reduces the chance of duplicate charges.

Available with the reservations/preventOverlappingScheduleTypes customization enabled.

Easier-to-Read Relationship Information:

Relationship information throughout the platform is now easier to understand at a glance.

Instead of showing short relationship labels, descriptions now appear as full sentences, such as:

  • Sarah is Emma's Mother

  • John is Michael's Grandfather

You'll also notice:

  • The Description field is now called Relationship Description

  • Relationships without a description will display None

  • The updated format appears anywhere relationship information is viewed, including parent, staff, and administrator accounts

LineLeader Enroll Updates

Update Multiple Family Statuses at Once:

Corporate users can now update the status of multiple records in a single action.

Instead of opening each record individually, you can select multiple and apply a status update all at once.

This is especially useful for:

  • Processing leads after marketing campaigns

  • Moving families through the enrollment pipeline

  • Cleaning up outdated or inactive records

Organize Message Templates with Tags:

Message Templates now support tags, making it much easier to organize and find templates.

You can:

  • Create, edit, rename, and remove tags

  • Use the same tags for both email and text templates

  • Filter templates by one or more tags

  • Quickly identify templates used in workflows or drip campaigns

Tags can be enabled or disabled depending on your organization's needs.

Easier Template Management:

Several updates have been made to the Message Templates experience:

  • Templates now open in a new browser tab

  • Email and text templates can be archived instead of deleted

  • Archived templates can be viewed when needed but stay out of everyday template lists

  • The Message Templates page now includes a dedicated area for managing saved templates

These changes make it easier to keep template libraries organized over time.

Bulk Actions for Templates:

The former Mass Copy feature has been expanded and renamed Group Actions.

You can now select multiple templates and:

  • Copy them in bulk

  • Archive them in bulk

  • Update settings across multiple templates at once

Supported bulk updates include:

  • Who can send the template

  • Template groups

  • Communication types

  • Tags

  • Email attachments

This is especially helpful for organizations managing large template libraries.

Favorite Your Most-Used Templates:

When sending emails or text messages, you can now mark templates as favorites.

Your template lists will be separated into:

  • Favorites

  • Other Templates

Favorites are personal to each user, so everyone can build their own list of frequently used templates.

Email Template Enhancements:

The Email Template Editor has been refreshed with a cleaner layout and several new features.

Highlights include:

  • A collapsible settings panel

  • A new Preview Text field (up to 300 characters)

  • Improved organization of template settings

  • Support for Corporate Staff Only email templates

Preview Text allows you to control the text that appears beneath the subject line in many email inboxes.

Updated Text Template Editor:

The Text Template Editor has also received the same refreshed experience.

Users can now:

  • Collapse or expand settings sections

  • Manage tags directly within the editor

  • Access communication type and sender permissions more easily

The result is a more consistent experience between email and text template management.
