How to Send a One-Off Text to a Family

However, there are times when a personal, direct message can make all the difference.

Steps to Send a Direct Text:

1. Go to the Family’s Hub Page
Start by navigating to the Family Hub for the family you wish to contact.

2. Click the Chat Bubble

To the right of the parent’s email address, you’ll see a chat bubble icon. Click it to open the messaging module.

3. Open the Messaging Module

A text message window will appear, giving you access to templates and customization options.

4. Choose a Template

Select a text template from the dropdown.
Tip: The General Text Template is a great choice! It automatically includes the guardian’s name, your name, email address, and phone number.

5. Customize the Message

Make any edits needed to personalize the message. Don’t forget to add emojis to keep the tone friendly and engaging! 😊

6. Send Your Message

Once you’re satisfied with the content, go ahead and send the text.

Using a direct text is a great way to complement your automated communications and maintain a warm, personal connection with families. It’s quick, easy, and helps keep the conversation going!
