How to Transfer/Refer a Family Within Your ENROLL Platform

Transferring a family between locations in your CRM is a simple, streamlined process.

Whether you're sharing information with another center or fully transferring a family's profile, follow these steps to ensure a smooth handoff:

1. Navigate to the Family Hub

Start by locating the family you wish to transfer. Head to their Family Hub page within your CRM.

2. Locate the Refer/Transfer Button

In the top right corner of the Family Hub, near the gear icon, you’ll see the "Refer/Transfer" button. Click this to begin the process.

3. Choose an Action

You’ll be prompted to select whether you’d like to:

  • Refer/Share the family (which keeps the family card visible at your location), or

  • Transfer the family (which removes the card from your current location).

4. Select the Location

Choose the location where the family’s information should be sent.

5. Notification of Transfer

The receiving location will see the family listed in their “Pending Families & Messages” section, confirming the successful completion of the transfer.

6. Accept the Transfer

Once notified, the new location should view and accept the family into their system. The family will appear with the initial “New Family” status, so make sure to update the status as appropriate based on their enrollment progress by viewing existing Family Notes in the Family Hub. Also, reach out to the initial location.

By following these steps, your team can effectively manage family transitions between centers while keeping information organized and up to date.
