We’ve been busy making improvements to enhance your experience. Here’s what’s new in LineLeader:

Better Data & User Experience:

ADP Integration Now Includes Preferred Names & Middle Names

Now, when importing data from ADP, both Preferred Name and Middle Name fields will automatically populate—saving you time and reducing manual entry.

Easier Password Resets for New Accounts

If a parent tries to reset their password before activating their account, they’ll now automatically receive a new activation email. This update eliminates the need for parents to contact administrators to reset their passwords.

More Organized Organization Lists

Finding an organization is now easier. We’ve sorted organization-related lists alphabetically and added partial-match search functionality to select lists that were previously missing this feature.

Default Expiration Date in Billing

A new "Expiration Date" column has been added to the Billing > Plans and Configuration page (when “registrationFlow” is enabled) to improve billing management.

Past Due Accounts Widget on My Site Dashboard

Admins can now see past-due accounts directly on the My Site Dashboard, thanks to the new "mySiteDashboard/ShowPastDueAccountsWidget" customization. This mirrors the existing Past Due Accounts widget on the Billing Dashboard for quick financial insights.

Role & Permission Enhancements:

ADP Integration: No More Accidental Demotions

If an employee’s job title changes, their system access won’t downgrade automatically. This means staff who were promoted to Admin won’t revert to Staff just because of a title update. Users will retain their appropriate access and authority, even if their job title changes to one typically associated with a lower role or record type.

ADP Integration: Smarter Job Title Mapping

New job titles in ADP will now automatically map to the correct record Type and Role in Manage, ensuring a seamless profile setup.

Better Duplicate Checks for ADP Imports

To prevent errors, our ADP import now checks for duplicate email addresses before creating new Staff or Admin accounts. This will make sure that each email address is unique and associated with a single account type, avoiding conflicts for users who may have both Family and Staff/Admin profiles.

UI & Scheduling Improvements:

Better Phone Number Formatting for XAP

Phone numbers are now sent in the AU locale format instead of E.164, ensuring smoother data transmission. This change ensures compatibility with XAP's requirements and aligns with regional standards for phone number representation.

Bold “Schedule Type” on the Parent-Facing “Programs” Tab

To make it easier for parents to find their child's schedule details, the Schedule Type under the Programs tab is now bolded.

Clearer Absence Reporting in Attendance Grid

When a child is absent, the Attendance Grid by Date Report will now show “Absent” along with the reason, so you have full visibility into attendance.

Parents Can View Child Relationships

A new setting (people/showFamilyRelationships) lets parents see who’s associated with their child’s account.

Billing & Payment Updates:

Automated Emails for Adyen Top-Ups

Adyen account holders will now get an automated email notification whenever a manual top-up is made, improving transparency.

More Accurate Invoicing

Automatically generated invoices will always reflect the correct rates, discounts, and subsidies, reducing billing errors.

Enrollment & Scheduling Enhancements:

New “This Week’s Schedules” Widget

A fresh widget on the My Site Dashboard shows real-time enrollment levels compared to program capacity, helping admins stay ahead of demand. (Available when "registrationFlow" customization is enabled.)

More Accurate Enrollment Display in Scheduling

We’ve refined how children appear on the Time > Scheduling page. Now, they’ll be categorized based on only their enrolled schedule type(s) and group(s), removing any confusion from time-based classifications.

We hope these updates make your experience smoother and more intuitive. Thanks for being a LineLeader user!
