We’ve made some exciting improvements to make things clearer, more intuitive, and easier to use! Here’s more information on the latest updates and enhancements:
1) Clearer Program Details in the Child Programs Tab
We've added a dedicated "Program Details" section to the Child Programs tab, giving parents better insight into their child's enrolled programs. Here’s how it works:
Punch Cards: Notes related to the purchased punch card now appear under a "Program Details" header.
Enrolled Programs: Recurring schedules now include a "Program Details" section with relevant notes.
Selective Week Billing Plans: Notes for selected programs now show up directly under the program name.
Any updates to program details will automatically reflect everywhere they’re shown. If no details are available, the section won’t appear, keeping things neat and clutter-free!
2) Smarter Schedule Creation – Only See What Matters
To avoid errors and streamline scheduling, we now show only the relevant schedule types for the selected group when creating a schedule.
The "Schedule Types" dropdown will only display options that apply to the group you're working with.
These settings are managed under Manage > Groups > Billing Plans.
If a child's group is set to "Default," only its assigned schedule types will appear.
This makes scheduling faster, easier, and mistake-proof!
3) Adding New Billing Plans – Now Seamless
We’ve made it effortless to integrate new billing plans:
Newly created billing plans now automatically appear in the selection dropdown.
If “Select All” is enabled, the new plan is instantly linked to all applicable schedules.
Archived & suspended plans now behave consistently—archived plans are removed, and if un-archived, they’re restored where needed.
4) New Schedule Types – Automatically Linked to Billing Plans
When you create a new schedule type, it will now:
Automatically show up under Manage > Groups > Billing Plans with "Select All" enabled.
Prompt you with a confirmation pop-up to guide you through setup.
If deleted, it will be removed from all billing plan configurations and active schedules.
This update makes managing schedule types smoother than ever!
5) Smarter Billing Plan Selection in Schedules
We’ve improved the schedule creation process so that the billing plan dropdown now only shows plans linked to the selected schedule type—no more unnecessary options!
If no billing plans are available, a helpful message will guide you to update your settings.
The dropdown updates in real time as you switch schedule types.
This keeps things clean and ensures the right plans are always selected.
6) Edit Relationships Directly from a Parent or Pickup’s Account
Managing relationships is now much easier!
Parents or caregivers with the right permissions can edit family relationships directly in the People page.
The new "Edit Relationships" button allows bulk updates for all children linked to a caregiver.
Changes are automatically tracked in the child’s History tab.
This saves time and makes managing contacts much more convenient!
7) Better Program Details in Summary Emails
We’ve improved summary emails to display program details in a clearer, more structured way. This means:
More organized and informative emails.
Parents and admins can easily understand program configurations at a glance.
8) Improved Registration Process – Clearer Program Details
Program details are now clearly displayed throughout the registration process.
If program details are configured, they’ll appear right under the charge name with improved spacing.
The section expands dynamically to fit all details without cutting anything off.
This ensures parents and admins have all the info they need while enrolling a child.
9) More Flexible Start & End Dates for Selective Week Billing
Admins now have more control over billing plans!
You can set custom start and end dates for any day of the week.
This helps align billing plans with different scheduling needs.
10) Auto-Retry for Failed Credit Card Payments
To reduce unpaid invoices, we’ve added a smart retry system for failed credit card AutoPayments.
If a payment fails, the system will automatically retry up to 3 more times over 7 days.
If AutoPay is disabled, retries won’t happen.
This helps recover payments without extra manual work.
11) Fix for Multiple Schedules on the Same Day
Good news! You can now create multiple schedules for a child on the same day, whether they’re recurring or non-recurring.
The system prevents conflicts while allowing more flexibility in scheduling.
12) Localized Twilio Text Messaging for Australia
We’ve improved text messaging for Australian users, ensuring that language and formatting better reflect local norms.
13) Improved Accounting Activity Logging
Invoice adjustments are now more accurately tracked, with posting dates aligning correctly for better financial reporting.
14) Better Parent Visibility into Relationships
Parents now have better visibility into relationships associated with their child's account.
When enabled, a Relationships tab will appear on the child’s profile.
Parents can see full names, relationship types, and descriptions, but privacy remains intact for non-parent contacts.
